The Redevelopment Agency can benefit from coordinating with State and Federal preservation agencies to inform improvement programs and future preservation efforts in the city.
Develop Historic Preservation Plan
Develop a Historic Preservation Plan to establish policies, practices, and criteria for preservation of buildings and sites important to the history of Norwalk.
Protect & Enhance Historic Structures
Norwalk’s tourism industry, real estate market, and cultural life are intrinsically tied to the preservation, repair, and maintenance of these historic buildings, properties, and sites, which help define Norwalk’s unique character and sense of place.
