Harbor Loop Trail / SoNo Wharf
The Harbor loop Trail, in connection with the Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT), is a 5 mile multi-use trail loop. Sections at various points are still incomplete. The Redevelopment Agency is working with a consultant to design sections at the Maritime Aquarium, 130 East Ave, and 148 East Ave. In connection with the trail, the team is working on bringing the SoNo Wharf at 4-10 N Water Street to fruition. The Wharf will hold a section of the NRVT and serve to improve the connection to the waterfront and open space in the heart of SoNo.

The second meeting about completing parts of the Harbor Loop Trail / SoNo Wharf in Norwalk was held on April 6, 2022. Refined designed concepts were presented, based on public feedback from the first meeting, followed by a public discussion during which attendees had time to ask questions and provide feedback.

A public meeting about completing parts of the Harbor Loop Trail / SoNo Wharf in Norwalk was held on February 9, 2022. Completing segments will provide green space along the riverfront for pedestrian use and activity, improve connection to and within the urban core neighborhoods, and improve connection to local natural resources. The meeting included time for attendees to ask questions and provide feedback.
