Redevelopment Agency expanding its reach and services

The Norwalk Redevelopment Agency will be expanding its footprint within the city. The agency will be moving some of its core project management staff and community service team to 50 Washington Street in South Norwalk as of March 1.

The agency will retain some administrative personnel and provide additional space for a small business development center at its current office building located at 3 Belden Ave. Small business loan services, along with workforce development programs will be among the services offered at this new workforce development and small business center.

The RDA and the City of Norwalk remain committed to supporting residents with low incomes and woman and minority businesses that want to grow or startup in the city.
